The Gladiators' Challenge 2 - Results and Highlights!

  • Winners - On The Run.

  • 1st Runners Up - The Golden Gladiators.

  • Golden Boot - Mahmud From On The Run with 12 Goals in total!

Yes, now that we are done with the results, lets get down to a brief story about what our event was like this time!

First off, after the match kicked off, there was a lot of tension between the teams but as the group stage progressed, it was very noticeable that the teams were really bonding together despite the fact that they still had to compete against each other!

Mid way through the Group Stage, our Gladiators were greeted with a Sweet/Pleasant/Energy Boosting...etc.. (Subjective) surprise from the very lovely and generous Red Bull Girls! Instantly, the pitch blossomed with life and energy! There were smiles on almost all of the participants except for the dudes sweating it out on the pitch in a match at that moment! Also not to forget that all our top 8 teams, thats a total of 64 players from the Group Stage walked away with Frolick yogurt vouchers EACH! I must say, it sure left surprised smiles on the players faces as they were given out! (We like to make sure you guys are pampered to our fullest potential!)

Nearing the end, during the Semi Finals match between our previous winner from The Gladiators' Challenge 1, The Dorset Boys and Golden Gladiators everyone couldn't help but watch in awe as the teams drew at full time which lead to an endless bout in the penalty shoot out which lasted on for ever! Some players who were watching and cheering on even went to the extent of shouting out to the ref for a coin toss to decide the winners! Nevertheless, the players braved on against each others goalies who just refused give up! It was a nerve wrecking round for all of us.

Lastly, came the finals where both extremely powerful and much feared teams met face to face for the final spur which lead to On The Run taking the lead in the 3rd minute which brought them 1 goal to nil against the Golden Gladiators! On The Run held their game form till the end and eventually, they won the Cup, the Pride and the Glory of The Gladiators' Challenge 2!

Well played Gladiators! We hope to see you on the pitch in our next exciting tournament very soon!

Why Take Deposits?

Hello people, due to our recent experience during The Gladiators' Challenge 1, we have come to a conclusion that it would be better and more fair to collect deposits from teams!

Why? It is because during our first tournament, there was an over subscription of teams who wanted to join our the GC1 but as we advertised, we did not take in any more teams once we hit the limit but during the event day itself, there were a few teams which did not turn up. Resulting in some teams being unable to play the 3 Guaranteed games we promised.

So This time around during GC2(in which we Guarantee 7 Games per team) we do not want to disappoint our teams again! We will be taking deposits from registering teams so that only teams that are committed and willing to participate can join!

Do comment here or visit our Facebook Group Page or Add us as friends on Facebook if you have any further queries! We are always willing and ready!
